  I went to the store for a simple troubleshooting of my shifting problem. Not only did the store located on Yadkin Rd in Fayetteville, NC. told me the wrong problem but the also tore up my shifting handle boot and refuse to install me a replacement one. ***They also tried to sneak it into my bill.(part and labor would have costed me approximately $300)*** When i confronted them about it, they treated me horribly. And told me they didn't tear it up. I told them when i brought my truck to y'all my shifter boot wasn't tore. They told me they would order me a new boot and since i was a disable veteran from the military and was a mechanic while serving, i can put the piece they tore up on myself. I said that not fair. Also they wanted me to sign a letter stating they did not tear up my shifting handle. A few weeks of battling this situation went by and when i called to see when my part would be in, i was told nastily by the woman working the front desk (who wasn't there on the day my truck shifter boot was torn but heard hearsay about the matter), that i was lying, they didn't tear up my truck shifting handle boot, and they not going to give me the part in which they tore up.
  
  I called the Corporate office, before speaking to the rude woman at the front desk, on the day my boot was torn, and was told they use a mediator to solve the problem. Well at least that what they said they would do because the mediator never contacted me but was able to make a decision based on the store side of the store. Yet i did receive a email from them stating that the store have the right to screw over their customers and there is nothing you can do about it.
  
  So to all of you that read this message, be careful and/or just go somewhere else. But whatever you do if you are in Fayetteville, NC do not, i repeat, Do Not go to the Meineke store located on Yadkin Rd because if they tear up something on your car they would rather cover it up, charge you for the part they messed up, and screw you over than fix the problem.
  
  I guess to them the customer is always wrong, so screw them.
