  Today I had a horrible, troubling experience in the pharmacy. I am leaving to go out of town tomorrow until March 5th and needed my prescription filled early which my doctor approved. The pharmacist there went way out of his way to treat me like a common drug addict because my prescription is a controlled substance. It is not a pharmacist job to morally check a customer. His job is to fill the prescriptions that the doctors who are qualified wrote out. I will likely never forget the way that he very pompously made me feel less than and tried his best to trip me up like I was lying about going out of town. I plan to spread that information as far and wide as I possibly can and get to the highest level of management with Walgreens to discuss this issue. This is not okay. I understand that there is a problem with prescription drugs in America but the Assumption needs to be that I am not an addict, not that I am definitely an addict and treat me like trash in the meantime. This is why people go forever without getting on proper medication because of the way that people like that man and I use that term loosely made me feel.
