  Be careful using Steve. He will cheat you out of your money. On Feb 2, 2014, I gave him 525 dollars for a new front door, a roofing nail gun, nails for the door and for him to put it in. I told him I needed it in by the 1st of April. He said it wouldn't be a problem.At the end of March, I called him 5 times before he called me back. He said he was tied up on a job but call him back a week from that Friday. I did but he wouldn't answer my call. So I called his wife and then he called me back within an hour threatening me that if I ever called his wife, he would file charges on harassment and said he would send my money back. This was May 24 and I haven't heard from him since or seen my money or tools. He still wont answer phone calls from me. I just want my money and tool back. I feel he is a thief. I have spoken to the Better Business Bureau and Chamber of Commerce on him and keep trying to let people know what type of guy he is. Only thing that happened good was I found a good trust worthy guy in Stedman that does better work and and is cheaper than Steve Metzgar. My name is Sam Dent .Please don't get cheated by this guy like i have. My wife is paralyzed from chest down and i'm trying to take care of 91 and 98 year old in-laws. I hurt my back 10 years ago so I needed help but Steve isn't help at all.PLEASE DON'T LET HIM CHEAT YOU OUT OF YOUR MONEY!!!!!!! PEOPLE LIKE STEVE SHOULD BE PUT OUT OF BUSINESS.I AM GOING TO CALL CHANNEL 5 NEWS AND GET THE LADY THAT GOES AFTER STEVE THIS WEEK TO SEE IF SHE CAN HELP. I am also calling Consumer Financial Protection Agency this week. Hard working people of North Carolina don't need people like this taking advantage of people. Please, if you know anyone going to use him, tell them to beware. He will say he needs the money up front then he won't do the work and won't return your calls. He takes the money and runs.
